What to Do If You Don’t Want to Delete a Playlist?

Deleting a playlist is a permanent action. So, if you don’t want to delete the entire list, there are other workarounds to it.

  • Use the ‘Add all to’ option to copy the videos from one playlist to another.
    1. If you want the videos of one playlist in another, use the ‘Add all to’ option. It copies the videos from one of your playlists to another.
    2. Once the videos are copied to the other playlist, delete the first playlist.
  • Remove individual videos on your playlist.
    1. If you want to shorten your playlist, remove specific videos.
    2. Use the steps to delete a playlist as described above, but when you view the list of videos, tap the three-dot menu beside the specific video.
    3. Now, you will see the ‘Remove from’ option.
    4. Another way is going to the streaming page of the video and choosing ‘Save.’
    5. Now, take away the check from the box beside the playlist menu.

Remove YouTube Playlist as a YouTuber (Creator) on Phone

Creators can use YouTube Studio to delete any playlist.

  1. On your phone, launch the YouTube Studio app.
  2. Access the home screen of YouTube mobile and touch your profile icon. It is at the top right portion of the screen.
  3. After that, select the YouTube Studio option.
  4. If you don’t have the studio on your device, a window will appear using which you can install it.

Remove the Playlist of Another Creator from Your Library

YouTube allows you to save the playlists of other creators in your library. But you can also delete them. Although the procedure is a bit different, you can learn to do it through the steps below.

  1. Head to your account on YouTube.

  3. You will see playlists created by other YouTube accounts.
